My broader ecosystem did not start as a grand plan. It started with a referral from Dean, a conversation with Krystal, and the realization that independent professionals, employers, and families were facing the same gaps in healthcare access, benefits, and workforce infrastructure. The first connected ecosystem I built in response was the Health & Benefits ecosystem — focused on healthcare access, affordability, workforce benefits, and better decision support. That work became the blueprint for the broader Alan Bush ecosystem that followed.
While working with the City of Stamford, my coworker Dean introduced me to his sister Krystal in Texas. Krystal was a radiologist moving from traditional employment into 1099 contractor work. What began as guidance around business formation, taxes, and benefits quickly revealed that the real need was larger than a single product or referral. Independent professionals needed portable health and benefits options, while employers relying on contract talent needed better ways to support and retain that workforce. That realization became the foundation of the Health & Benefits ecosystem.
Dean introduced Krystal, who was deciding whether to remain an employee or form her own company as a 1099 professional.
Krystal revealed her employer supported 100 healthcare facilities and 150 contract professionals.
I saw two major problems: independent professionals lacked portable infrastructure, and employers lacked retention and benefits strategies.
That discovery, combined with my own career wake-up call, became the fuel to build the Health & Benefits ecosystem in roughly six months. Its connected-platform model later became the blueprint for expansion into business, capital, technology, public infrastructure, legal services, media, and legacy.

During an employment gap before the New Milford engagement, I worked for The Limo Group after a recommendation from a friend who later formed Blue Star Limo, LLC. The demanding work—often 12–16-hour days across the Tri-State area—gave me direct exposure to service standards, scheduling, customer relationships, logistics, and the economics of chauffeured transportation.
I established a veteran-owned black-car business as a potential income backstop against seasonal construction consulting slowdowns. Its original CTBlackStarLimo.com brand marketed airport, executive and special-event transportation. This original identity is supported by archived site and business-promotion materials.
Following pandemic-related loss of demand, I used Limo Anywhere as the back-office engine for incoming leads, bookings and affiliate operator relationships, including fulfillment connections with Blue Star Limo and an iDriveYourCar referral option. I later repositioned Black Star LIMO around Lead Intelligence & Marketing Optimization, including NeverMissLeadsAI.com.
This account distinguishes my operating and partnership experience from the reservation software itself, which was provided by Limo Anywhere. An additional point-to-point airport transfer partner and precise dates of the earlier chauffeur assignment remain to be verified.
